Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana: A new scheme has been started by the state government for daughters. The name of this scheme is Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana. Girls face a lot of problems in studying, so the government has started many types of schemes for daughters. The government is constantly making tireless efforts for the upliftment of daughters so that they can move forward and their future can be bright.

State government started a new scheme for daughters

Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana is a similar scheme which has been started for daughters. Under the Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana, financial assistance will be provided to girls from poor families to get higher education so that girls from poor families are able to get higher education. Now the Uttar Pradesh government has started the Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana so that the girls of the state will not be deprived of education and they will be encouraged for education.

Meritorious girl students will be given benefits 

Through this scheme, meritorious girls of the state will be given financial assistance of Rs 20,000. Girls who have passed the 12th examination from CBSC Board or ICSE Board or Madrasa Board and whose name has come in the merit will get the benefit of UP Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana by the Uttar Pradesh government. Through this scheme, enthusiasm for studies will be awakened in girls. And girls will move towards studies.

Eligibility required for the scheme

• Only girl students of Uttar Pradesh Education Board will be able to apply for UP Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojana.
• To take advantage of this scheme, it is mandatory for the students to be in merit in the 12th class examination.
• The family of the students applying should be from lower class.
• Only girls from lower classes will get the benefit of this scheme.
• The annual income of the student's family should not exceed Rs 35,000.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given to those girl students who, after passing the high school examination, have successfully obtained a diploma or trade certificate of at least 2 years from any polytechnic or industrial training institute.
• Girls below the poverty line will get the benefit of this scheme.
